Hardware questions
Do I need special hardware to start?
No. A computer, tablet or Android phone is enough. Add a receipt printer and barcode scanner when you're ready.
How does the cash drawer open?
Connect the drawer to your receipt printer and set the printer driver to open it when a receipt prints. TrackaBiz doesn't control the drawer directly.
Which barcode scanners work?
Scanners that act like a keyboard (most USB and Bluetooth scanners do) work with the desktop app and web dashboard. On Android, scan with the phone's camera.
Will the internet router keep me online?
A dedicated router helps your sales sync quickly. If the connection drops, the desktop and Android apps keep selling offline and sync later.
